The AuthorK. Natwar Singh was born in 1931. He was educated at Mayo College, Ajmer, Scindia School, Gwalior, St. Stephen's College, Delhi and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1953 and resigned from it in 1984, thereafter he joined the Congress Party. At present, he is a member of the Congress Working Committee.
